Seed to Cup Series: Colombia | Finca El Robe

We are excited to share our understanding of "Seed to Cup" with you coffee enthusiasts out there! Come join us and also get a chance to pre-order Finca El Robe Java Natural & Honey Process from Colombia which was chosen by Ken Te from Society Coffee NZ for 2019 New Zealand Barista Championship, where he placed 3rd.

Come join us this evening filled with Colombian coffees, cheese and crackers!

4:30 PM: Society Coffee team members will host a meet & greet and introduction for the night.

4:45 PM: Presentation by Hugo from Three Brothers (Producer) & Cofinet (Trader). It is important as a roastery for our customer to understand that we work closely with our people who shares the same concept of Seed to Cup. There will also be a tasting of coffees together with Ken's selected coffee - Finca El Robe Java Natural Process and a few others from neighbouring farm.

5:45 PM: Led by David Huang and Ken Te from Society Coffee will share their insights towards Finca El Robe Java including both processing methods and varietals, as well as focusing on farm practices and how it impacts on the flavour of the cup.

6:00 PM: The final session of the evening will be a tasting Ken's competition signature coffee alongside with more chit chat with the coach of his as well as the roaster behind the coffee.

6:30 PM: Farewell and time to say good night.... we mean beer o'clock.

This event is free but RSVP only, nibbles and refreshment will be provide on site.
